We have finally released the AW17 collection in the shop - as usual it is a sample sale, and all the pieces are 50% off. There are only one of each size, and for some pieces, like this one below, only the one in size S. This deconstructed shirt dress is one of my favorite pieces and could be styled effortlessly over a pair of cropped jeans and some ankle hugging boots for this fall season. You can also check out the editorial here with our gorgeous Johanne Xenia - a danish beauty!
I am a real Scandi Girl at heart, so living in Dallas where it is still so freaking hot, really challenges my style cravings. Mentally, all I wanna do is just wrap up in something like this, with a pair of popping boots, and layers and layers of sweaters on jeans. But, for now, I guess I have to keep coming up with various summer combinations, and just dream of the day I get to wear something like this Giambattista Vallli dream...
I love myself some colorful lips! I will almost always wear some kind of color, so when I heard about Lipsense from my friend Elise, I thought I had to try it out! I was very sceptic, I must admit, because it just didn't seem plausible. You lick your lips, eat and drink though out a day so of course the wear will come off! At least that was my reasoning, but when I had the opportunity to try it out, I thought why not?!!?!?
And it turns out - it actually lasted me about 8 hours before I eventually decided to remove it myself. I just want to point out, that this is not a sponsored post, I have no relationship with the company and I have no gains, other then the fact that I was so impressed, I had to share it here.
These pictures where taken at 7 pm after a full day wearing the lipstick - with no touch-ups whatsoever.
The key to the long last is in the application process - because there is a bit of a process to it. It took me roughly 10 minutes for the full application, but clearly it was well worth it for the end result! A video will come up shortly with me explaining the application process step by step for those who are interested to know.

Sometimes all I need is for me to be in my own corner! I don't know what happens or why, but I loose myself - I get lost in my own world and I have to remind myself to get back in that corner and keep rooting for myself! It's strange why that has to be so hard, for in reality you should be the one you love and cheer for the most!
When I do get lost it takes me a little to find back again, but I still struggle to understand why the off-road has to happen?
So I clearly have a problem! It started back in may, when I suddenly had this obsession with yellow.. That later on turned into an obsession with white once I got to the end of June - and now we are at the end of August, and I can't stop gravitating towards green!
This outfit is 80% thrifted. The jeans are vintage Levi's, the shirt is a 2nd hand, oversize silk shirt, and I adore the color. Shoes are from Zara and unfortunately sold out, but I will try and link some similar ones down below :)
Last weekend I was in the UK where I took part in the celebration of a beautiful couple's wedding day. The ceremony took place in this very old and magnificent church, and later on we continued the night at the Chevin Country Park Hotel and Spa. It was a gorgeous day and an amusing night!
Putting together your outfit as a wedding guest is not always easy. I knew it was going to be colder then what I am used to, but I couldn't show up in a sweater and some boots, so when I found this wool coat I knew that would be the perfect combination of comfort and style.
I, obviously, love to dress up, but I find it difficult to justify a huge investment into an outfit I will most likely only wear one time, maybe 2. So I went on the hunt, thinking I could not spend more then max. 100$ for the full outfit. Luckily the summer sale was on!
The dress I found in H&M at 10$, the shoes in Zara at 12$, the coat on Amazon at 39$, and the earrings was a last minute buy the day before the day. In total I spent 67$ on my full outfit which was way less then I had expected, so for one night I felt like a million without spending one.
So even though it is still summer, and it will be for quite a lot longer here in Dallas, I have Autumn Vibes. Maybe it's because I just came back form Europe, where the weather wasn't exactly what you would call summer like, or maybe it is just because I am ready for a seasonal change in my wardrobe. Regardless of that, this is what I am dreaming of prancing about in. Denim on denim, with a little more denim!
My time here in Denmark is coming to an end, and I have had such a great time reconnecting with family and friends. I truly hate goodbyes - I cant stand them - but luckily I can look forward to some exciting time in the UK the coming week - I am thrilled to see my love soon! And with love comes the color red, so here you go! <3
Goodbye... For Now

On Wednesday I am going back to Europe for a couple of weeks, and as always the weather there can be quite questionable, so I am getting all the whites out of my system as much as I can before take-off.
That being said, I am looking forward to revisiting my roots and all that I have dear there :)

July has been a month where basically all my decisions has been based around the color of white. I have found tremendous inspiration in that color - I wonder if is because it is summer :)
Last night - although in America - we celebrated le 14 juillet, or as it was said here, Bastille Day. It's interesting how globalization has made all of us adapt other cultures marked days and traditions. Surely we will reach some common ground one day where the conflicts and fighting wont be necessary.
So in honor of France, of course I had to incorporate red, white and blue into my look :)
La Fête Nationale
On Sunday I went to check out the fashion show of Smith The II - he is a locally based Dallas designer, that I have heard of on many occasions, so when the opportunity presented itself, clearly I had to make an appearance. I went there with Lela, we managed to make it a girls-night/work-night out and it was such a beautiful sunday spent in great company. The venue was set outside the city hall, and the show circulated around the fountain. We came quite early, and sat for a while until the sun started setting - and it was right when golden hour hit that the models appeared out of what seemed like thin air. It was slow-paced but vibrating at the same time.
The night was steaming hot, so I had chosen to layer myself up in white...
